Accept What Is: All is in Divine Order

We seem to be in quite a fix nowadays. Our climate is changing as the atmosphere is heating up, our economy seems to be in turmoil, we are fighting two wars, and everyone seems to be stressed to the max, feeling helpless and negative about the future. The price of gas went up then down and no one knows why and most believe it will go through the roof again. There seems to be great uncertainty and fear all around. Even with the excitement of a new president and change ahead, most seem to feel we have an almost insurmountable task ahead and it will take a long time for us to recover.
Becoming more green and taking better care of our environment seems to be a necessity today. Many of us are joining in and recycling, buying from more green companies maybe even going solar or buying carbon offsets as our contribution to saving the planet. All these and more are beautiful ways to contribute and may help ease our conscience and sense of helplessness. Is this however how the planet will be saved?
I find myself wondering is this the change we are being asked to make or is more required of us on a deeper more personal level?
I was watching a tribute to George Carlin the other night and remembered how he had this incredible way to make us look at our world with different eyes, to step outside ourselves and really see us for what we were doing. They played a clip of one of his routines, the one about ‘stuff’. Our stuff and how much stuff we had and how we had protect ‘our stuff’ and have big places to store the stuff . It was so hilarious, yet so telling about our need to have, save, store, protect and get more and more stuff. George as he usually did, got me thinking, is greening a few of our things and actions enough to save the planet? Is there something deeper in us that we seem to feel needs satisfying by having more stuff or even is fulfilled by bring a little green into our world? What keeps us needing more?
Why do we feel jealous for what others have? What is lacking inside us that we need more stuff to make us feel better? What are we afraid of loosing? Why are we so stressed? Why aren’t we at peace?
It seems as though when we buy into the fear around us and the need for more we lose a sense of who we are. We can feel powerless, overwhelmed and look for things or solutions outside ourselves to pacify the turmoil.
In order for us to feel truly at peace there are several understandings we must embody.
Accept all that is:
Regardless of what comes into our sphere accept it because it just is what has happened. If we react to what is from our experiences of the past we will come from a place of reaction, fear and judgment. We would be coming from a place of trying to control where we have no control. This however doesn’t mean never to do anything we just don’t take what comes personally. If we first let go of our attachment or fear of the out come we find ourselves coming from a much deeper and more powerful place.. Our choices for action come not from our ego but from a deeper more connected place.
This state of being brings peace and surprisingly a sense of joy followed by a deeper ability to know what the correct action is if any is to be taken.
Greater levels of creativity come from deeper within rather than a reaction that comes from fear, guilt or a selfish need.
All is in divine order:
>No matter how crazy it all seems everything is under control and it is all there for a reason. A reason we may not know or be able to comprehend. There is a higher purpose and it is for our/the greater good.
Even all the seeming chaos around us now!
As we embody these ideas we become more in touch with our true selves, more intuitive and better able to respond to all the world places in our path.
